After a quite tiring journey to our hotel in Bournemouth and the first night in our hotel in England we started our five-day adventure in England.
We started our day with a delicious English breakfast and rushed to school situated in the centre of Bournemouth. The town is fantastic, filled with charming Victorian houses and narrow streets.
We spent and interesting morning with our teachers at Bright School and we were proud to start our Advanced English course.
We spent a lovely afternoon with our guide who showed us Mary Shelley’s tomb. He was impressed by our students’ knowledge regarding her masterpiece, Frankenstein. Another exciting part of our tour was a stroll down the pier. The ocean breeze is so fresh and delightful. We were also lucky to see a seal splashing in the ocean water.
At the end of the day we pampered ourselves with some shopping and wellness time.
Lat but not least, Sofia turned 17 at midnight!! Happy Birthday Sofia!
We already got used to our daily routine here in Bournemouth: waking up at 6:30, having a full English breakfast and heading off to school!
Today it has been a very tiring day for our students because they had their lessons both in the morning and in the afternoon.
They started working on their business project, i.e. running their own social fundraising campaign. They are going to present it to their teachers on Friday just before our departure.
However, we experienced an alternative evening activity: we went to virtual activity centre and it was amazing!!! Our students had so much fun experiencing virtual reality !!!!!!
